Javea is an ideal destination for nature and beach lovers. It is a perfect location, as there are nearby coves and paradisiacal beaches and also many mountain places that you can visit. In the same way, you can do sports and adventure activities, such as hiking, bicycle routes and many other options. Below, from our campsite in Alicante, we talk about some bike routes to do in Jávea.
– Vuelta al Montgó: this is a moderate route of 54.04 kilometres around the Montgó mountain. You will go from the port of Jávea to the port of Denia and then return to the point of origin through the interior.
– Return to the Granadella Forest Park: it is also of a moderate level and a total of 25.72 kilometres. In this route the Granadella Forest Park is crossed, an area that in the past was full of fauna and flora, but that nowadays does not offer such a beautiful vision, due to an intentional fire that there was some years ago.
– Tossal Gros Route: It is a route of a slightly higher level, since, although it is not excessively long, there are many climbs. There are approximately 20 kilometers, starting and returning to Avenida Augusta (although you can make this journey longer), and 3.5 kilometers are of continuous ascent.
– Tarraula Route: a total of 18 kilometres starting from Avenida de Augusta; it is a moderate route that crosses the municipality of Jávea diagonally.
In short, these are some of the bike routes you can do if you are staying at our campsite in Alicante. In addition, if you like sport and nature, we recommend that, in addition to the routes mentioned, do not hesitate to discover places as beautiful as Calpe or Moraira.
