Javea is an ideal destination for nature and beach lovers. It is a perfect location, as there are paradisiacal coves and beaches nearby and also many mountain places you can visit. In the same way, you can do sports and adventure activities, such as hiking, biking and many other options. Next, from our campsite in Alicante, we tell you about some bike routes to do in Jávea.
Bicycle routes
– Tour of the Montgó: this is a moderate route of 54.04 kilometers around the Montgó mountain. You will go from the port of Jávea to the port of Denia and then return to the point of origin through the interior.
– Tour of the Granadella Forest Park: also of moderate level and a total of 25.72 kilometers. This route goes through the Granadella Forest Park, an area that was once full of fauna and flora, but currently does not offer such a beautiful view, due to an intentional fire that took place some years ago.
– Tossal Gros route: this is a route of a slightly higher level, since, although it is not excessively long, there are many climbs. It is approximately 20 kilometers, starting and returning to Avenida Augusta (although you can make this route longer), and 3.5 kilometers are of continuous ascent.
– Tarraula Route: a total of 18 kilometers starting from the Avenida de Augusta; it is a moderate route that crosses the municipality of Jávea diagonally.
In short, these are some of the bike routes you can do if you are staying at our campsite in Alicante. In addition, if you like sports and nature, we recommend that, in addition to the routes mentioned above, do not hesitate to discover beautiful places such as Calpe or Moraira.
